Content Marketing Manager

The Content Marketing Manager is a key member of the EMEA marketing team, responsible for planning, developing and delivering the European content strategy. This role will focus on delivering the right content, at the right time to the right audience by persona, solution, vertical, sales segment and region. 

You’ll work alongside content producers, designers, SEO specialists, field marketing managers, demand generation, product marketing, customer marketing and digital media specialists, to ensure we have the right mix of content aligned to the customer journey and to support the regional demand and field marketing initiatives.

What you will be doing

  • Understand the customer journey and develop a content strategy and roadmap to inspire, educate and inform our audiences across Europe working closely with relevant teams at HQ including solutions marketing, customer marketing, demand generation, content and editorial teams as well as the wider EMEA marketing teams. 
  • Deliver new multi-format assets to answer the questions that arise as our target audiences engage with Slack and our content. Identify and fill gaps in our content strategy.
  • Identify and scope marketing content projects in line with overall marketing strategy and priorities. Own and guide the editorial direction, production, delivery and measurement of those assets from videos, to blog posts to ebooks and more.
  • Collaborate with regional teams, and the content team at headquarters to support, advise and ensure global content initiatives are locally relevant
  • Manage agencies, vendors as well as effectively collaborate with internal creative, copywriting, editorial teams to support projects and initiatives
  • Ensure our customer’s stories are at the heart of every content touchpoint in the customer journey. 
  • Raise, develop, and drive breakthrough ideas that showcase Slack’s thought leadership and how our product is inspiring companies around the world to unlock the future of work. 
  • Maintain and be the custodian for our editorial guidelines in Europe. 

What you should have

  • 8+ years marketing experience (enterprise software preferred) in content, corporate or customer marketing
  • Validated ability to work cross-functionally, particularly with content producers, creative and editorial teams, field marketing and externally, with customers and agencies
  • A customer-first approach with a passion for storytelling and creative marketing
  • Creative and inventive problem solver capable of operating both in a strategic capacity and a hands-on/execution capacity
  • Can-do, positive, inspiring attitude and appetite for trying new things
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills
  • Understanding of the dynamics of large-scale global marketing campaigns
  • Track record of success in a dynamic, sometimes hectic environment
  • Bachelor’s degree is required

Account Executive, Mid Market CEE

You will be responsible for driving the sales process with prospective customers as well as the expansion of existing accounts. You will work closely with our customers to understand their business objectives and act as their trusted guide for using Slack most effectively. You’ll also work with cross-functional teams to help align our product roadmap and marketing materials with customer feedback. Head of International Sales Strategy

Slack is looking for a strategic, results-oriented Head of International Sales Strategy to join the Sales strategy team.This person will partner with Sales Leaders, act as the team lead for the international strategy team and drive strategic initiatives that shape the growth trajectory of Slack’s Enterprise Business.

The ideal candidate is at the intersection of strong strategic and analytical thinking combined with leadership skills to drive change. This candidate will demonstrate quick learning and an impressive history of driving results.  Most importantly, the candidate will deliver through strong relationships and use excellent communication to reach alignment across executive teams, keep projects on track while embodying  the Slack’s key cultural tenets of Smart, Hard-working and Humble.



  • Partner with International Sales leadership to deliver strategic projects that enable the business to execute its highest priority initiatives 
  • Lead and build the International Sales Strategy team
  • Leverage data to conduct in-depth analyses across areas of the business (e.g. customer segments / regions / product lines) to develop an understanding of key value drivers, identifying improvement areas and opportunities
  • Act as the strategic thought partner to various members of the Sales Leadership team, helping shape the sales strategy across the Enterprise business

Technical Architect

As a technical architect, you are responsible for engaging with our largest and most strategic customers to assess and design the technical rollout and launch plan for Slack. You are a key member of the Customer Success services team with a technical background and competencies in development, integration, solution architecture and security.

What you will be doing

  • You facilitate customer facing workshops with the technical team and develop a technical deployment plan
  • You ensure flawless integration with other systems and apps, including identity management, eDiscovery, data loss prevention, other SaaS products and internal systems.
  • You assist in secure setup of the customer’s Slack environment based on IT, governance and technical requirements.
  • You remove technical roadblocks for organization-wide software distribution
  • You present detailed technical information and benefits of the Slack platform to a wide array of customers, including line of business managers, developers, technical architects and executives.

What you should have

  • You possess outstanding written and verbal communications skills, with the ability to go a mile deep with technical customer resources or to explain the most basic capabilities to a business user.
  • You have excellent presentation skills for presenting both business oriented solutions and advanced technical concepts.
  • You have experience leading and crafting technical projects, engaging with, and motivating change across multiple levels of IT executives and organisations.
  • You have past experience working directly with Sales and Success teams, Consultants, and System Integrators.
  • You have a bachelor’s degree required in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business.
  • You have at least 2-3 years of previous development, consulting, professional services or sales engineering experience.
  • Hands-on proficiency with at least one object oriented programming language such as: Java, Javascript, Node.js, Python.
